In the following video I show how to make a basic shortwave radio antenna. This antenna can be made for less than a $1.00 and it works as well as antennas that are sold for $30.00.

I was told by one that you can hurt your shortwave radio by using too long of a wire… not sure if that is true or not?

The wire antenna is a little oversimplified but the video is well done. Thank you for it. -Matt
