No worries! Says the IAEA
For the past several weeks we have been discussing how Israel is using it’s influence and control over what it likes to call “our friends, the US and other enlightened countries,” to help cover up and lie about anything/everything Israel would or could benefit for covering up or lying about. Most recent and glaring example was regarding the Goldstone Report controversy (Goldstone Report articles). In addition, don’t forget, Israel also relies on the “US and other enlightened countries” to help fund anything/everything that needs funding. I am sure that could also cover Little Hymie’s Bar Mitzvah but a great deal of it goes to keeping the most technologically advanced military and weapon arsenal in the Middle East, perhaps the world!
We are all already fully aware of this, not only from the shear magnitude of the financial and military aid that Israel sucks out of the U.S. taxpayers, but also from the arrogance by which politicians from both countries boast about it. This is not a recent situation either. I can not recall any single Washington administration or Congress that did not kneel at the altar, beneath Torah scrolls, to sacrifice more of our U.S. taxpayer money.
For example, just look at the below Guardian News article. I remember when this happened and you probably will too. Remember when Boy George Bush kneeled beneath the Torah scrolls to offer up $30 BILLION worth of our tax dollars? It was only a few years ago. In the below article, the Guardian reports “The US has long been the largest arms supplier to Israel; under a current 10-year agreement negotiated by the Bush administration the US will provide $30 billion in military aid to Israel.”. This is nothing new to any of us, right?
When you take it into context, the article that was published earlier this year, references an Amnesty International report published this past February (not to be confused with the more recent Goldstone Report). From that report and the Guardian article, we learned about “Detailed evidence has emerged of Israel’s extensive use of US-made weaponry during its war in Gaza last month, including white phosphorus artillery shells, 500lb bombs and Hellfire missiles.” You can do your own research on the lethal incendiary effects of white phosphorus artillery, the magnitude of 500lb bombs or the precession of Hellfire missiles. Not bad to have if you want to wreak havoc on a population, especially a civilian population like Israel does.
In that report, Amnesty actually “called on the Obama administration to suspend military aid to Israel.” Oh, silly international, globally recognized human rights organization, that’s just not possible! We have a media-driven society here in the U.S. and its resulting democracy. We can not just stop sending aid to Israel! Those altruistic, humanitarian, benevolent groups say the darndest things, don’t they?
But that is not my point today. See the below article from the JTA that caught my eye. Headline read “Iran may have tested secret nuclear warhead design”. Then it essentially concluded with a quote attributed to the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). According to the IAEA and the JTA, and several other sources inside the U.S. and Israel, there is “Iranian scientists may have tested high-explosive components of a two-point implosion device” . You got that right, there is new “previously unpublished documentation” according to records that Iranian scientists may have tested high-explosive components.
Now what is that all about? Hell, for all we know YOU may have tested high-explosive components. I heard a lot of noise over the 4th of July holiday and I suspect that my next door neighbor may have tested high-explosive firecrackers. That is what makes news if you look at U.S and U.K. based media.
Contrast that with what else makes news on related subject matter. This one comes from the AFP, or “The world’s first news agency”, that has been putting out news since roughly 1835. In an AFP article published today, that also quotes directly from the IAEA, the same agency quoted above that made me think of my next door neighbors 4th of July conspiracy, is also saying today that they have inspected Iran’s “previously secret uranium enrichment” site, and the United Nations experts found “nothing to be worried about”. Nothing to worry about!
It was less than a month ago, really just a couple of weeks ago, we were talking about the magical Mulatto-Obamo, standing hand-and-hand with his marginally Whiter peers from Britain and France, bellowing out to the World about what he called Iran’s “covert uranium enrichment facility”. They stood there wagging their finger at Iran making it clear that they would consider military options for dealing with this facility. He said that “we do not rule out any options when it comes to US security interests”. And just to clarify, “US security interests” directly translates to: Israel.
So just to recap here, our tax dollars are being used so that we can be the largest arms supplier to Israel. There is new evidence from the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) that Iranian scientists may have tested some explosives and that there coincidentally “nothing to be worried about” when it comes to Iran’s “secret” site (secret as in built inside a mountain to keep it safe from the Israeli warheads that WE PAID FOR!)
