Another Casualty of the Retail Collapse: Borders to Close 200 Waldenbooks Locations
Borders(BGP) is the second-largest bookstore chain in the nation. A few years ago the company purchased Waldenbooks. Since that purchase Borders has struggled to keep its business profitable in a rapidly deteriorating economy.
Borders’ revenue loss over the last two years has resulted in a dramatic drop in the company’s share price. The stock currently trades for around $2.00 a share, a far cry from its $13.00 share price just two years ago.
Because of the company’s ailing financial condition they will close nearly two-thirds of the remaining Waldenbooks locations. The closings will be completed by January and cost about 1,500 employees to lose their jobs.

Who really cares if another giant corporation goes out of business, I sure don’t? I am one of thousands of writers who don’t stand a chance in hell of getting published and put on their shelves because of the greed and policies of the industry.
Times change. The internet has helped lots of us get read by others. Perhaps the small bookstores that have been eaten up by these creeps will be resurrected as well. Most of all, I hope people continue to read for pleasure and self growth.

It is a little surprising to begin to see jews suffer from the economic crisis which they created. You would think someone in the tribe would have found a way for all of the Goyim’s money to be seized without any of the vermin suffering but alas the jew is so demonic it doesn’t even stop to consider its own in its quest for world domination. This will all come to a head within 2010 and we the collective of Gentiles will again have to pose the jewish question.

I remember Borders books when it was a small, family -owned bookstore in Ann Arbor, at the edge of the campus of the University of Michigan, on State Street. The employees were very knowledgeable people and earned a yearly bonus, often in excess of their yearly salary. KMart bought out the business and decided that the workers made way too much money! The anchor Borders store is still in Ann Arbor, along with corporate HQ as of my last visit in 2003. That’s progress for you!!!
