Wikipedia – Jew Source for All Branches of Knowledge
Encyclopedia - a work that contains information on all branches of knowledge or treats comprehensively a particular branch of knowledge usually in articles arranged alphabetically often by subject (Merriam-Webster)
If you are like me, you have undoubtedly noticed the rise to power of Wikipedia. This is the online self-described “Free Encyclopedia” that was created in 2001 and purchased by Google in 2006. Wikipedia defines itself in part as the “multilingual, Web-based, free-content encyclopedia project based mostly on anonymous contributions.” That is a reasonably accurate partial definition to me.
The potential problem here is that most people do not understand that definition and how/why it can skew the accuracy, objectivity, and implied bias of the term encyclopedia, which by definition implies nearly universal unbiased objectivity and accuracy. Exacerbate that by a Google ownership that lends additional credibility and, based on my experience, almost guarantees front-page Google search indexing. This allows Wikipedia to really be one of the Internet’s most popular sites. That last part is something any and all websites and webmasters constantly strive for. But even more alarming, and to me what makes Wikipedia truly dangerous, is the origins, original ownership, and management of Wikipedia.
Wikipedia was founded by two Jews named Jim Wales and Larry Sanger. Sanger has since left the company but Wales is still the President of Wikia, Inc. and Chairman of the Wikimedia Foundation. You can add to that list a list of tribesmen names like Jeremy Rosenfeld, Benjamin Kovitz, Seth Cohen (not trying to deliberately leave out the other names but I think you get the point). Don’t rely on Wikipedia to explain any of this to you. For me, that drastically impacts the objectivity, bias, and accuracy of anything found in Wikipedia.
Our friends that are also members of the tribe, like Wales and Sanger, will say of course it can not be completely unbiased, objective, and accurate. After all, it is “based mostly on anonymous contributions.” And Wales tells us in the below JTA article, Wikipedia, “which is authored by volunteer contributors around the world, ultimately is able to forge balanced entries even when it comes to even the most contentious issues.” But I for one do not trust Wales or any member of the tribe to give me any encyclopedic information
Be very careful and diligent about using any information coming from Wikipedia. Do a little research on your own and see if you agree with my assessment. See what other people say about Wikipedia, the critics I mean. Understand how and why those critics are supporting the criticism that Wikipedia moderators openly pro-Jewish and bias. And make sure those that you know also understand this.
